Turbid-water imaging
The camera and its built-in lighting work together to bring out structures and objects when water is cloudy or light is limited.
Arden Perception · Underwater Vision
A portable, diver-carried camera system for real-time close-range inspection in low-light, high-turbidity water. Deploy quickly, view the scene live, and keep a complete visual record of the mission.

Single-diver operation
Built for teams that need to inspect, document and review underwater conditions without assembling a multi-person setup.
Imaging, illumination, live view and recording are one carried unit. The diver enters the water, sees the scene as it is being recorded, and surfaces with the record already made — the integrated design is intended to cut rigging time and reduce the number of operators a visual survey needs.
Core technology
The integrated system combines underwater imaging, illumination, live viewing and recording in one portable field kit.
01
The camera and its built-in lighting work together to bring out structures and objects when water is cloudy or light is limited.
02
A very wide view helps the diver cover more of the scene and reduces blind spots during a visual survey.
03
The underwater probe uses a stainless-steel housing and an IP68 protection rating for submerged operation.
04
Integrated LEDs support close-range observation of damaged embankments, corroded hulls and underwater obstacles.
05
A 10-inch HD display supports live viewing, video recording, still-image capture and synchronised audio, kept for later review.
06
A built-in high-capacity lithium battery supports 6–8 hours of continuous operation without an external power supply.
Field workflow
All four steps are carried out by the diver in the water. Nothing has to be reconstructed on the surface.
Step 01
Open the portable kit and enter the water with the integrated camera, light and display.
Step 02
Use live video and the wide field of view to inspect the target area in real time.
Step 03
Record video, take still images and keep synchronised audio notes when required.
Step 04
Archive the mission record for condition review, acceptance, reporting or follow-up work.
Applications
Suitable for professional diving operations as well as specialist underwater observation.
01
Inspect underwater structures, embankments and submerged assets while keeping a visual record.
02
Review corrosion, damage and other close-range details on hulls and marine structures.
03
Support underwater project acceptance with live observation and archived images or video.
04
Provide an immediately deployable visual tool for underwater search and emergency assessment.
05
Document objects, structures and site conditions in a form that can be reviewed later.
06
Give experienced divers a portable, better-documented way to observe and capture underwater scenes.
